YAY for things that go boom! (I love that he used Hide And Seek by Imogen Heap)
I have been wanting a video camera that can shoot true slow-motion for a while now. Anyone know of a good one? Not that I would be able to afford one right now but making a goal is the first step to getting what you want.
EDIT: This guy used a Sony PMW-EX1 witch is $6,000 Waa! That one looks out of the question. He also used color correction witch I need to learn.

I tried to hang out with 6 different groups of people last night... and they all fell through.
I would tweet about this but I know at least 3 of them follow me on twitter, and none of them read my blog.
I quit one of the hardest and most UNsatisfying jobs I have ever had yesterday. I have my next job lined up and I am SUPER excited about it! I will give you details on it later. Most likely when I start witch will be at the beginning of next year. So from now, until then I will focus on school, family, friends, and maybe the internet. :-)
Love you guys. This turned into an all right blog.

So I was fairly surprised today when browsing through my videos to see that my ninth most viewed video was a crappy little video about ear candles. For those of you who haven't seen it here it is. As I was trying to figure out what was getting this video so many views I came across the comments. These included such gems as:
| "OOops to late just got done with the ear candle. Lets look at this with an open mind im not a doctor and dont claim to be one but doctors have been around what 60-70 years ear candles what more or less give or take a thousand year. I rest my case." |
According to this man's logic leeches and bleeding trump chemotherapy.
"You are a brainwahed looser, that's all.
Ear candles costs up to 5 $ and seeing a doctor maybe would cost 50-100 $. It's all about competition a momeny. GET A LIFE!!!" |
And this brings me to my final point. This is what I put in the description today, and I wanted to share it with you:
For some reason this video has been getting more attention lately. For all the crazy people that think that the "man" is putting down the ear candle so that people will buy real medicine... um.... You're crazy! Who do you think publishes the books about how alternative medicine is being suppressed? The people selling the crap to you! It is the same on both sides. Don't act like the alternative medicine people don't have an agenda too. They are getting rich off of selling you wax paper! I am not defending the pharmaceuticals either, they are a bunch of crooks too. But please listen to yourself, you're saying that the pharmaceuticals are putting down alternative medicine so that pharmaceuticals can get rich, but isn't alternative medicine slamming pharmaceuticals so they will not take away business from alternative medicine?

I have a question.
|
How many of you guys read my posts through your friends page?
What I am getting at is, I have been thinking of moving my blog somewhere else. Like WordPress or some other type of platform like that. There is always RSS for people to stay informed but I am not sure if people really take advantage of RSS.
Share your thoughts in the comments!

Ugh!!!! This shit pisses me off sooo much.

Glenn Beck condemns volunteerism.
"Volunteerism is working for 'free'... remember that."
I wonder how many unpaid interns they have working at fox; local affiliates and their nationwide channels.

Check out the costumer reviews.
My favorites:
Last weekend I had to chance to BBQ one of these bad boys up for my 3 Wolf Moon T-Shirt / City of Heroes Supergroup. I chose to take the Beer can Chicken approach, but replaced the Chicken with Rabbit and the Beer with Red Bull. All I can say is that it was scrum diddlyicous. After dinning on this fine vermin, we settled in for a night of online gaming. I kid you not, this meat of the gods improved our game play by at least 30%.
A lot of my friends like to shop online, so I added this to my baby registry. My best friend received one at her shower and she loves it! So when I got TWO at my shower, it wasn't the disaster other duplicate gifts can be! My little girl is now three months old and we are still getting a lot of use out of the Fresh Whole Rabbits.
He's a little shy at first but quickly warms up (on microwave low).

Me writing stuff...
|
I have been wanting to write more recently. (A story not a script) And in doing so, I have found that writing is really, freaking, difficult. I spent maybe an hour on a new story and didn't quite get a page done. After rereading it, it feels too fast and choppy. Then I started to read "Looking for Alaska" by John Green, and he tells a whole story in like 2 pages; amazingly vivid, and emotionally hard hitting.
Also (me being a fan of irony) think it is funny that I would have an interest in reading and writing. For those of you who don't know, I am dyslexic. I think most people know by now, I am not the sort of person to hide a flaw. Anyway... as a kid I would have never expected for me to have an interest in reading or writing. I think it happened for a number of reasons:
1. The internet, Almost everything on the internet is in text form. (Except YouTube) and as I clime my way up and up, reading is taking up most of my time on the internet. It is not just a hobby now, it is a potential career. So the time I spend on the internet is crucial, and I am reading during most of that time. I think it is an unspoken rule that reading more leads to writing more.
2. Audio books, I have listened to about 30 books in the past 4 months. While I am extremely aware that audio books are not even in the same league as paper books, it has made me start to care about literature and recognize a good author from a bad one. Also it has helped me find what type of books that I like to read so I can read real books on my own.
3. Semi-depression I am in no way actually depressed, but I have been getting the feeling that I am going nowhere. Nothing seems to be happening in my life: nothing professionally, nothing in my love life, and no adventures. I feel stuck and unmotivated, and to escape I have been imagining myself in different lives, that are fantastic and perfect. I think all this built up creativity wants to come out. While I can't do the things that are in my daydreams, I can write them down and let other people enjoy them. Also while writing, then I escape into the world I am creating.
Whatever the cause, I have been getting the urge to put my fingers to the keyboard and type something, and hopefully bring someone to a place that they have never been before.
